E-commerce

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you place an order in our shop, we collect billing details, as well as shipping details if these are different from billing. These include name, address, telephone number, email and optional account information like username and password. You also have the option to add delivery instructions and gift card comments. In the checkout process, you can opt to use these details to create an account, for a quicker checkout process in the future, but this is not a requirement.

We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

Payment

We provide payment options through Svea Webpay. This provider processes payment for your order on their servers and in this process, we send them the relevant order details, including your personal details above. After payment processing, they send back a payment status. We do not track or store your card- or payment processor account details.

Contact form

You can also contact us through our contact form. We require you to provide your name and email address, so that we can respond to any queries. Optionally you can also submit an email subject and message. We do not store this email correspondence online together with our website, but any contact form submissions will be sent to [email protected] and saved in our email account.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to better understand how our visitors use the website. This involves tracking behaviour and general usage. We use Google Analytic’s Data Retention of 26 months, with retention being reset in case a user re-engages with the site.

MailChimp

We use MailChimp for sending email newsletters to our subscribers. We have a form where you can sign up, your email is required. It is also possible to sign-up to our newsletters from the checkout page.

Cookies

cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. How long we keep your data

We only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to satisfy the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any accounting, reporting or legal requirements.

Your rights to your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
